In 2021, China's aluminum foil production totaled 4.55 million tons, compared to only 2.52 million tons in 2012, with an average compound annual growth rate of 6.8%, far higher than the average growth rate of the aluminum rolling industry. Battery aluminum foil accounts for a relatively small proportion of the overall aluminum foil production, only about 3%. However, in 2021, the production was 140000 tons, and in 2020, it was only 70000 tons, with a year-on-year growth of 100%. It is a subdivision of the foil product with explosive demand growth.
The aluminum rolling industry belongs to the traditional manufacturing industry, and its downstream demand is widely distributed in industries such as construction, home appliances, automobiles, daily consumption, electronics, and electricity.
